Cant seem to fine Enrons 10k after 1997 on EDGAR.
Cant seem to fine Enrons 10k after 1997 on EDGAR.
IN my research, i (think) Enron’s state revenue was really high, with the help of mark-to-market accounting but its cash flows were negative for most of the 90′s, right?
If that is true, why was Enron’s stock price so high, having a high revenue but a negative cash flow gives a negative impression doesnt it?

Why is “profit on sale of land” considered non-operating cash flow but “cash received from sale of land” not?
cory asked:
My CFA guide book says that “profits on sale of land” is considered financing cash flow, but “cash received from sale of land” is considered operating cash flow.

I understand they’re both calculated in the net income, but I dont understand why cash received from sale of land is considered operating cash flow and profits not?
