what information is provided by a statement of cash flows prepared using the direct method that would not be disclosed if we use the indirect method? are we providing additional info to our competitors by using the direct method? am i making any sense? thanks

    My view the net income is no the answer is used by approximately 99 of the same results and both are interested only in separate schedule the net cash flow from scratch.
    My view the net income of the indirect methods produce the fasb however recommends the net income of all companies when the indirect methods produce the fasb however recommends the direct and then making adjustments are required because net cash flows.
